Applications of Mathematical Knowledge
Applying familiar mathematics in unfamiliar situations, with less reliance on routine calculation.
Mathematical Reasoning
Analysing arguments, counterexamples, logical conditions and elementary proof ideas.
Scoring and use
TMUA reports one overall 1.0-9.0 score.
There is no official pass/fail score.
Preparation should improve reasoning quality and speed, not just formula recall.

Separate algebra, functions, sequences, calculus and proof weaknesses.
